Dental x-rays are an essential part of prevention.  They are capable of identifying hidden decay which can happen in between teeth or beneath the surfaces of old filling or old crowns.  The frequency of x-rays is different for everyone, and dependent on several factors.  These include your past and current risk of developing cavities.  We have the ability to take basic intra-oral x-rays, and also panoramic views, which help us to monitor tooth eruption, and screen for disease.
